Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Training
Want to be a world-class problem solver? You have come to the right place. This workshop merges the powerful elements of traditional Lean and traditional Six Sigma into one combined approach.
- Gain Process and Product Knowledge with Critical thinking
- Reduce variability and non-value added activities
- Develop Leaders in the organization who are focused on customers, reducing defects and growing the business.
- Learn breakthrough improvement methodologies
The hands-on workshop is taught using Air Academy’s world-renowned approach, (KISS) Keep It Simple Statistically. In other words, you don’t have to be a statistician to understand six sigma. If you have the basic math and stats background, our instructors and easy to use software will help you reach your goals.
You will learn the elements of DMAIC. Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control. In-class examples, simulations, and hands-on exercises ensure you will have practical, working knowledge of these powerful tools. This is not a theory class. This will make you a practitioner.
Having a project before enrolling in this course will allow you to immediately apply the tools to your real-world problems. If you are not sure how to identify a project, ask your leaders or call us. We can help you identify the right type of project that will make you a hero upon your return.
The course is taught in four one-week sessions, with each week of training separated by a month. The time between training weeks is designed to facilitate project work. Our Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Training uses the “Present/Practice/Apply/Review” strategy. That is, we present tools and methods, give participants the opportunity to practice them in class, and then apply the tools to their project, and finally review the results of the application to the projects.
