This is a self-paced course. There is an outline at the end of this document that describes the content in each of the sessions. Although the sessions can be viewed in any order, we believe that you will learn most efficiently by following the sequence in the order shown. At the end of each session, there is an associated 5-question quiz to test your knowledge and gauge your understanding of that topic.
Many of the recorded sessions will contain places to “pause” the recording to complete a practice exercise or to reflect on the material. Each session also includes supplemental reading assignments along with additional practice and review questions which will help support your learning. You are strongly encouraged to complete these.
What You Will Learn
By the end of this course, learners should be able to:
- Explain what measurement system analysis is and why it matters
- Understand the role of MSA in process improvement and quality decision-making
- Recognize common causes of measurement variation and error
- Interpret foundational concepts related to measurement system analysis, including gage r&r
- Review measurement data with more confidence and structure
- Apply MSA thinking to practical workplace situations
- Build a stronger understanding than they would from a standalone measurement system analysis example or summary file
- Support better decisions by improving confidence in measurement results
Practical Outcome
Learners leave with a clearer understanding of how to evaluate a measurement system and how that system affects data quality, process stability, and improvement analysis. This makes the course useful for professionals who want structured measurement system analysis training instead of piecing together information from a PDF, template, or slide deck alone.
Access and Learning Materials
This course includes:
- Access to the online modules and embedded quizzes
- Downloadable PDF versions of the written course modules
- A self-paced learning format that supports flexible study
- Practice and review opportunities built into the sessions
Learning Support
The current page explains that each session includes a 5-question quiz, and many recorded sessions include points where learners can pause to complete practice exercises or reflect on the material. It also notes that supplemental reading assignments and additional practice and review questions are included to support learning.
Why This Adds Value
This structure gives learners more support than a simple presentation, free notes, or a single example. It provides a more complete and guided way to build MSA knowledge over time.
