This virtual course focuses on the experimental design and analysis of efficient tests/experiments to maximize learning while minimizing resources. You will learn how to plan, design, conduct, and analyze experiments. Whether your objective is screening to find the most important factors, modeling to build precise prediction equations and optimize performance, or validating to confirm that a system performs well and meets requirements, you will learn to select the best experimental test design for that purpose. Important supporting tools and techniques used with DOE, including PF/CE/CNX/SOP and Measurement System Analysis (MSA), will also be discussed, and you will gain a solid understanding of basic statistics for sound decision-making.
The design of experiments course uses Air Academy’s famous Keep-It-Simple-Statistically (KISS) approach to instruction. This virtual learning style will provide the flexibility and capability needed to become proficient in using DOE and applying the most efficient test operational design and optimization strategies. Learning these tools and methods will help increase product and process knowledge, optimize performance, reduce variation, and accelerate return on investment.

This self-paced course consists of 16 recorded sessions:
At the end of each session, there is an associated 5-question quiz to test your knowledge and gauge your understanding of that topic. To receive credit for module completion 4 out of 5 quiz questions need to be answered correctly. Quizzes can be taken until a passing score is achieved.
