This varies per student. Each module is 1 approximately 1 hour in length. Homework is required. The typical Lean Six Sigma Green Belt course consists of 10 days of instruction, homework and quizzes. That equates to 40 + hours. If you are able to study on your own, come prepared to the instructor lead sessions and pass the quizzes easily you should be able to complete this within 2-4 weeks.

The industry standard (observed by most certifying bodies) requires the student have a project/process that need improvement and which can be achieved by applying the tools and principles learned in the course. This project needs to be presented to a coach and often times a manager. A certification exam is also required. This process can be as short as 3 months and should be no longer than 1 year.
