Course Overview
The Lean Six Sigma White Belt Online Course is designed for those who are interested in gaining a solid understanding of Lean and Six Sigma principles. The course will teach how the two work together to create the powerful continuous process improvement methodology and why companies embrace it. Air Academy Associates Lean Six Sigma White Belts will have the tools necessary to participate in team problem solving and assist with culture change fundamentals.
At the end of each session, there is an associated 5-question quiz to test your knowledge and gauge your understanding of that topic. To receive credit for module completion 4 out of 5 quiz questions need to be answered correctly. Quizzes can be taken until a passing score is achieved.

Course Structure
This is a self-paced course, consisting of 2 recorded sessions. There is an outline at the end of this document that describes the content in each of the sessions. Although the sessions can be viewed in any order, we believe that you will learn most efficiently by following the sequence in the order shown. In particular, the first session presents an overview of Lean Six Sigma, which will be helpful to put the remaining sessions in proper context. The second module PF/CE/CNX/SOP(a phrase created by Air Academy Associates) is a methodology that is used to reduce extraneous variation. Learn more from our video.

Creates control charts, diagrams (histograms, Pareto, box plots, etc.), MSA, t-Test, F-Test, etc., from within Excel. Upon installation, SPC XL 20 integrates into Excel and appears as a menu item on the Excel toolbar. The charts and statistics produced in the standard Excel workbooks can be shared with anyone who has Excel (even if they don’t own SPC XL). Control charts may be updated without recreating the chart.

Lean Six Sigma certifications are like many other professional certifications in a variety of industries. The student is required to understand and have competency in specific areas (tools and methodologies) and successfully apply them in a business situation. Once the competency is clear and the next guidelines and procedures for certification are met, individual may claim this as a designation in their profession. Much like many certification programs, there are levels within the Six Sigma methodology. From it’s earliest inception, Bill Smith (“Father of Six Sigma” and “Co-Founder” of Six Sigma along with Mikel Harry) coined the terms “Belts” in correlation with the martial arts progression to the highest ranking of “Black Belt”. Taking a course is the first step to certification.
